I recently ran some music live-coding workshops for Glasgow Science Centre at one of their new Science Lates events. These evening sessions are adults-only and include a huge range of entertaining, science-based activities.
During the workshops participants used Sonic Pi, a free-to-download program developed by Sam Aaron, to “remix” coded versions of several popular songs by changing synths, samples and effects.
